Glassdrumman Lodge is a family business and we specialise in small boutique bespoke weddings of 60 persons or less.

Glassdrumman Lodge is fully licensed to hold civil ceremonies both in the House or Gardens, and with 10 Bedrooms sleeping up to 25 people the ideal place to celebrate your wedding.

At Glassdrumman Lodge we aim to provide exclusive Bespoke Weddings that, regardless of size, are intimate and truly reflect the individuality and uniqueness of the couple. A day so special needs a special venue, special planning and a special type of staff to deliver the excellence you deserve. We believe that is where Glassdrumman Lodges excels.

While we have extensive experience hosting weddings, no two weddings will be the same, with that in mind, we may discuss some of the options that have worked in the past, but this is your day and your vision. This is of the upmost importance to us.

The food options at Glassdrumman Lodge are limitless, as are your choices of where and at what time to dine. However, all this and more can be discussed upon your visit. We also provide a complimentary tasting dinner for two people with overnight stay upon receiving a deposit.

Sample 50 Person 3-Day Wedding Festival

Day 1.

  • Family start arriving from 12pm.

  • A luxury Seaweed Soak as has been arranged for the ladies.

  • And a round of Golf for the gents.

  • Drinks reception will be held in the drawing room before each family separately go to a local restaurant for dinner.

Day 2.

  • Breakfast will be served at the big table from 9am until 11am the bride of course can have breakfast in her room.

  • Sandwiches will be available for the bridal party in the drawing room.

  • The wedding guest should start arriving from 1:30 Tea & Coffee with homemade short bread will be available.

  • The ceremony will be scheduled to start at 2:15 in the Marquee however this will slip until 2:30 by the time all the well wishing aunties have taken pictures.

  • After the ceremony the newly married couple will host a Champagne drinks reception on the lawn with a choice of 6 canapés before nipping off to have pictures taken at the Silent Valley and Annalong Harbour.

  • During the time that the Bride and Groom are away more Tea, Coffee and Champagne will be served on the lawn and s Jazz duo of Saxophone and Piano will entertain the guests.

  • The bridal party will return from her photo shoot with enough time to mingle with the guests for 30 to 45 minutes before the guests are called for dinner.

  • Once all guest are seated in the Marquee Mr & Mrs ------- will be announced.

  • Dinner is seven course gastronomic delight served with professionalism and efficiency.

  • Matching wines will accompany each course if required.

  • As dinner is coming to a close guest will give a 10 minute notice to be ready for speeches.

  • Glasses will be topped with champagne to toast the happy couple.

  • Light entertainment will commence and the bride will change into something a little more comfortable.

  • The cake will then be cut.

  • The Band will invite the new couple to the dance floor for the first dance.

  • Fire works and the launch of the love lanterns.

  • Music will now more onto something to suit the younger generation.

  • The more mature generation will retreat to the safety of the drawing room for a brandy or whiskeys or 2.

  • Music will wrap up at 1pm ish bar music continuing at a lower level.

  • The Fire Pit will be lit and blankets will be handed out.

  • The bar will continue to served into the early hours if required.

Day 3.

  • A late breakfast is the order of the day served until 11am.

  • A gentle walk is planned in the mountains with maps and refreshments.

  • Upon returning to the lodge the Bar B Q will be lite for the family and a select few invited guests who will return from the night before.

  • Later in the evening as the sun begins to set we will be showing the Bride and Groom's favorite movie in the garden giving all the guest a opportunity to cuddle up under a blanket and watch as the stars twinkle in the night sky

Day 4.

  •  A leisurely breakfast once again before the Bride and Groom depart for they honeymoon and the family’s start to go home.
